TEACHERS: What do they make?

"The doctor wants his child to be a doctor, so do engineers, scientists, officers and bankers. The businessman too wants his child to succeed his empire. The pastor wants his child to walk in his footprints so are the musicians.  But a teacher also wants his child to become one of them, as well." quoted the Principal on a graduation day.

Among guests sitting around the dinner table discussing Life, a CEO of a giant company came up with the explanation about problems in Education.
In his argument, he asserted, "What is a child going to learn from someone who decided his best choice in life as a mere Teacher?
He questioned one teacher, "Be honest. What do you profitably make being just a Teacher?"
Then the teacher stood and replied, "You want to know what I make?"
Well, I make children sit through 40 minutes of class time when parents can’t make them sit without phones, games, computers and IPads for a couple of minutes.

I make children wonder in excitement, question their doubts. I make C’ Grade feels like a Congressional Medal of Honor.

I make my classroom a place where my students feel the safest.

I make children work harder than they ever thought they could. 

I make them understand when they are wrong, take responsibility for their action and mean it when they apologize.
I make them have self-respect and give respect to others.

I make them learn everything they need to know about while preserving their unique cultural identity.
And I make them understand that No One is Less Gifted by God and that they have to work hard and believe in their abilities. I make them believe that they have the ability to do everything.

When people try to judge me by what I really make? For me Money   isn't Everything.

I take pride in what I chose to do and being an agent of Change for one person, seeing their life transform into a successful one, is the prized- achievement I work so hard for besides the notion of my earnings.

Yes!!! You know what I really make!

I make a humungous difference in your lives:  Educating your children and preparing them to become doctors, CEO’s, teachers, preachers, influencers, leaders, pilots, bankers and you name all.

If less, I make someone who could read, write and communicate.

So the next time, when you think of a teacher…

 Remember!!! This is the person who chose to be a mere teacher because this one believes in changing the mind of your child for good and is the only next person who wants your child to achieve something in life like the way you think.

Decoding Delhi School Part 2

A truly appreciable format!  As a parent, I've always been curious about my son's performance in the entrance exam, not because I'm obsessed with marks, but because we relocated from a place with different educational standards and I want to know the areas we might be lacking to reach the standards here. My son and I worked diligently for weeks, revising concepts and basics in grammar and math. So, it was thrilling to receive a comprehensive assessment sheet, complete with insightful feedback on his strengths and weaknesses from the evaluating teacher.
